Pennapost uses one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising, analytics or social media cookies, and no tracking of any kind.

1. The short version
Pennapost uses one cookie, and only to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no social media cookies, and nothing that follows you around the web.
This policy is issued by Pennapost S.r.l., Via de’ Tornabuoni 9, 50123 Firenze, Italy, and applies to pennapost.com and the Pennapost apps.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way.
3. The one cookie we use
pp_session is a strictly necessary, first-party cookie. It holds a random identifier that tells our servers you are signed in, so you do not have to enter your password on every page.
It lasts until you close your browser, or for up to 30 days if you choose “Stay signed in”. It is marked Secure and HttpOnly, so it travels only over encrypted connections and cannot be read by scripts on the page.
4. Preferences kept on your device
The Pennapost apps may use your browser’s local storage to remember small conveniences, such as the last help article you opened or an unsent draft. This information stays on your device and is never sent to us for tracking.
5. What we don’t use
No advertising or retargeting cookies, no analytics or measurement cookies, no social media plugins and no third-party tracking scripts. Our fonts and assets are served from our own servers, so loading pennapost.com does not tell anyone else you visited.
6. Why there is no cookie banner
Under the ePrivacy rules and the guidance of the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for do not require consent. Since pp_session is the only cookie we set, we do not show a consent banner.
7. Your choices and contact
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings whenever you like. If you block pp_session, you will not be able to stay signed in, but the public pages will work normally.
